The problem

Mining safety teams need to report incidents quickly, screen them against regulatory rules, meet notification deadlines and follow investigations through to corrective action. Paper forms, spreadsheets and email make it difficult to see deadlines, trace decisions or compare performance across operations.

Shift volumes, quality results, mine plans and rehabilitation progress can sit in separate spreadsheets, without a clear approval trail or reliable comparison between actual and expected results.

What Drivatic built

DRIVATIC built a secure, multi-company web platform with Safety and Production workspaces, accessed through one module launcher. Administrators set up companies, mines, operational structures and users, controlling access by role and operation.

Safety guides reporters through ten-step incident capture with autosave. Deterministic Chapter 23 screening flags potential classifications, but a qualified Safety Officer or Mine Manager must confirm the result. Confirmed incidents create the required statutory forms and deadlines, then move into investigation and corrective-action tracking. Fatalities trigger escalation and scene-preservation controls. Dashboards show trends, injuries by body region, alerts and performance by operation.

Production captures shift volumes and quality results, routes entries through submit, approve and lock, and compares actual quality with approved geological expectations. Versioned mine plans have an approved baseline, alongside rehabilitation tracking. Forms are prepared, not transmitted to the DMPR; there are no live external integrations or AI-based classifications.
